Welcome to a place where nature meets music. In the stillness of forests and sea , far from noise and distractions, you’ll find space to tune inwards, write freely, and reconnect with your creative joy.

Imagine this:

You're sitting with a warm cup of coffee in your hands, gazing out over the waters. The sun filters through the treetops and gently strokes your skin. Everything around you breathes calm and creativity. You've just wrapped up a morning circle with fellow music lovers who – just like you – long to create freely, without pressure, in an inspiring and supportive space.

Over a few days, you’ve had time to reconnect with yourself, write the music that’s been waiting to come out, exchange ideas with other songwriters, and ease back into your creative flow.

We write together, share songs, laugh, eat well, and experience that magical sense of being part of something bigger – a community where everyone is seen, and your music truly matters.

This is your invitation to a retreat that not only gives you time to write – but also reminds you why you started in the first place.

Why a songwriting retreat?

This isn’t just another retreat – it’s a creative experience that will stay with you long after you return home.

It’s not about performing, delivering, or proving anything. It’s about stepping out of the noise of everyday life and into your creative flow.

This retreat is created for those who want to find their way to their creative spirit, strengthen their creative self-confidence and surround themselves with others who understand what it means to carry songs inside.  Whrite material for their next project or find new collaborations and extend their network.

You have the opportunity to finish half-finished songs that are otherwise on hold or continue spinning the melody you haven't gotten anywhere with!

What makes this retreat different?

This isn’t a course. It’s not your typical workshop. This is an in-depth, creative retreat where you – and your music – are at the center.

Expect inspiring conversations, creative exercises, sharing circles, and quiet moments where you can dive into your own process – at your own pace.

This is not about comparison or performance. It’s about meeting others in what we all share: the desire to express ourselves through music.
And yes – there’s plenty of room for rest, laughter and small adventures. Think forest walks and natures stillness, refreshing swims, fireside talks and spontaneous jams.

Because when you finally exhale, slow down, and let yourself just be – that’s when the songs come to you. That’s when you find flow and the magic happens.

Why you should come:

Because deep down, you know your music deserves more space in your life – but maybe you haven’t given it that chance yet, or you simply haven’t had the time.

This retreat is your invitation to press pause on everyday life and invest in what truly matters: your creativity, your passion, and your inner voice.

You should join because you’re longing for more than just “time to write.” You’re longing to reconnect with your creative spark – that feeling when ideas flow freely and you feel fully alive in your expression.  In a warm, welcoming space where you get to show up exactly as you are.
Here, you’ll experience the powerful feeling of being heard and understood.

You’ll meet other songwriters who also navigate doubt, desire, and lack of inspiration. People who speak your language – music.   And you don’t have to be “finished” or have it all figured out to belong here. All you need is the desire to give your music more room.
You’ll return home with fresh energy, new songs, new friends – and a deeper belief in you and your music.

This is what you can expect:

  • A recharged creative spark. Several days of uninterrupted time to write, reflect, and explore your music – both in company and on your own.
  • Meaningful conversations & deep sharing. Safe, honest sharing circles and inspiring discussions that offer reflection, clarity, and new insight into yourself and your creative process.
  • Meet and connection with others who are just as passionate, curious, and open-hearted as you. Many leave with creative friends for life.
  • Rest for body and soul. Nature, stillness, nourishing food, and presence help you land in yourself – and create from a place of calm and authenticity.
  • Confidence and inspiration to bring home. You’ll leave with new songs, new perspectives – and maybe even a new direction.
  • New songs, new perspectives – and maybe a new direction. A feeling that you a able. That your music is worth time, space and a place in your life.

"Sara is absolutely fantastic as a cours leader and a very inspiring songwriter and singer. Everyone felt welcome and shared themselves in an open and natural way. This, combined with simple, but effective, association and theme exercises, resulted in all groups being able to find good cooperation and quickly write music, lyrics, and songs in different styles with positive energy."
Hans
"Don't hesitate, go for it"

Your host

My name is Sara Littecke Bond. On the surface I am a mother, wife, woman, 40+ with a "day job". But above all I see myself as a songwriter, singer, inspirer and aspiring mindset and brain coach.

As a singer and songwriter I have always gone my own way. I love helping fellow songwriters and music creators to see and feel their inner power and value.

Everyone has a unique story, a unique voice, and others need it. I have  been to many songwriting retreats and I remember each one vividly. At this retreat I will help you find inspiration, what awakens your joy and ways to overcome obstacles which might appear so that you can create with flow. To write together with others and being part of a creative community is an unbeatable experience. /Sara

Absolutely you are! Anyone who is interested in writing music, wants to develop or wants to be inspired by others is welcome. It is the best place for it!

Of course! I encourage everyone to bring unfinished songs you're stuck with or song ideas you have as material for your collaborations.

No, sheets and towels are included in the accommodation.

The retreat is planned for 10 people, but there is room for more. With a smaller group we can focus more and dive deeper into the process and the songs that are written during the days.

To co-write is completely optional and you are absolutely welcome to write on your own if you prefer. Just let me know so I know how to distribute the grouping for each day.

You choose the option to pay in installments in the booking form. And I will contact you to make a plan.

The best thing is to fill it in the booking form. You can also email me at hej@saralitteckebond.se

Your reservation is binding but not personal. You can give your place to someone else. If you give your place away, they need to provide their details and any food allergies just like you did when you made your reservation.

There is the possibility to swim in the sea, sauna, walk and exercise. If you want to do any of these activities, I recommend packing clothes for it.
Generally bring clothes according to the weather.

For songwriting, it is good to bring paper and pen, recording devices such as a mobile phone or laptop.
